  • Sea-Vessel-1
I hardly know what to write tonight.  I guess I'm going to write the truth so that if anyone reading my blog wants to send prayers or good thoughts my way, they can do it.

I went to have a mammogram and ultra sound today (it seems like days ago) because I found a lump in my breast.  It appears that I have a tumor but whether it's cancerous or not, we don't know.  I have an appointment with a surgeon on Tuesday.

I'm tired tonight.  I have gone through so many emotions today that my mind is exhausted.  I'm going to hold on to the quote that I posted on my Christmas card.  Yes, miracles.  Whatever those look like.  I guess great love is a miracle in itself!

This is a vessel that I made for my parents for Christmas.  It's polymer clay over a glass vase. I really enjoyed making it.

  • (((((((Lisa)))))))I am so sorry to hear this, I know how very scary this can be. I certainly will say some prayers for you. I do pray that it is not cancerous, and it is not always, you know. So try to keep a positive attitude and hopefully it will be alright. You are right, miracles do happen all the time. My thoughts and prayers will be with you on Tuesday.

I love the vessel that you made for your parents and I am sure that they appreciate all the work that you did in making it. You are very talented. Take care!

  • I understand fully your anxiety Lisa after  finding this lump and tumor . But nothing says it is cancerous . It is perhaps a simple kyst or nodule . The best is to remain calm . But be sure you will be in my prayers . I am with you .

    The vessel is beautiful .

    Love to you Lisa

  • Lisa, Lisa, Lisa... I am (((so sorry))) you are worried about this!  Yes, love is the greatest miracle.  I am praying for your health and peace.  Your under-da-sea vase is lovely, btw.  I love you!

  • Lisa, Cathy called yesterday and told me.  Yes, prayers are answered.  Chances are, it could be a cyst.  They are pretty common.  I'm sure you rem. that I had breast cancer 16 years ago this past Oct.  Prayer works.  I didn't have to have treatments. 5 years ago, I had a calcification in my ramaining breast, I, too, had to see a surgeon, After biopsy, it was benign.  I know how you are feeling., I also, had trouble sleeping, and functioning. In the past 5 years, I have been active in the breast cancer awareness walks and information as to the advancements in medicenes and health care to prevention. Altho, I just have a feeling that you are going to be fine.  We will continue to pray for you.

Lisa, the vase is beautiful.  What talent!  Love you much.
