Jim was in the hospital again last week because of the Pleurisy and because his blood count was low. He had to have two transfusions. It seems his heart valve is destroying his red blood cells but the Cardiac docs say that this should correct within a couple of months. So we'll probably have a few more transfusions in the weeks to come.
Yesterday, he was in the ER for a heart rhythm problem, which they also say happens in the first months after a valve replacement. Everytime he goes in for something like that, I fall apart a little more. I think that I should be holding up better but it's actually wearing me down. I cry a lot lately.
I'm going back to work in the birth coaching job next week. I think it will be good to have some time doing other things. I haven't been in the mind state to paint or sculpt and I miss it. I really miss the creative energy. I also have ceramics starting again in about 3 weeks so that's another positive. I got my massage but really need another!!
Chase has been keeping me laughing...he's really into Star Wars right now. I miss Jake and Sarah and her Jim. Oh...played my guitar a couple of times in the past week...that was good. But that's all that's new in my life for now.
Blessings.

Well, you just have a lot to be emotional about these days (besides moving into the hormonie section of life
) Crying is okay when you need too, but it's hard work too. I wish ya had of known about the potential trips back to the hospital when he had the surgery... did they tell ya? I miss you round here. Thanks for pokin' your head in and givin' a shout out. We will keep praying. (((hugs!)))
(((((((Lisa)))))))) Sounds as if you could use a few hugs today. I will keep sending some prayers your way.
It is good to know that in two more months, he should be doing much better. In the meantime, I know that it must be hard on you.
I think the birth coaching job will do much to help you cope with things. Chase sounds like good therapy for you also. Children can add so much happiness to your life.
Hang in there and hopefully things will soon be looking up for you.
Have confidence Lisa . I think after such a surgery a time to adapt is normal . I Think like you your going back to the birth coaching will be good for you . The same for ceramics . You have a gift for the ceramics . I remember the wonderful pieces you made ..
I have no news from Sarah either . I think they have moved .
Love
Michel
Hey Lisa, wish I was able to pop by, have a cup of tea with you ... maybe bring a bag of clay with me and we could make something together. But it is good news that you are going back to birthcoaching, and still playing guitar. Take care!
