A quick update: Jim is doing REALLY well!! We did have one more hospital stay last week to treat Pleurisy and severe anemia but he's doing great!! We had our first trip to somewhere besides a medical appointment yesterday: we went for a short trip to the home improvement store.
I'm hanging in there-my life is very, very busy; taking care of appointments, medications, cooking, and doing all of the outside jobs that Jim normally takes care of.
Chase usually asks Grandpa if the doctor put a clock inside his chest because he ticks. I'm getting used to the sound...we never have to wonder what his heart rate is now!
